Gräfin Bertha Henriette Katharina Nadine von Kolowrat-Krakowský was the daughter of Leopold Philipp, Graf von Kolowrat-Krakowský (1852-1910) and his wife, Freiin Nadine von Huppmann-Valbella. She was married 10 Aug 1909 in Vienna to Graf Hieronymus von Colloredo-Mannsfeld. She engaged in an extramarital affair with Roland Hayes, the noted American lyric tenor and composer, with whom she had a daughter, Maria Dolores "Maya" Kolowrat (1926-1982).
