Services for A. C. Rushing of Levelland will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2005 in Geo. C. Price Funeral Chapel with grandsons, Mark Adams of Austin and Matt Adams of Lafayette, La., officiating. Burial will be in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of Geo. C. Price Funeral Home. He died Thursday, March 31, 2005 in Lubbock.

Born on Feb. 3, 1915 in Trenton, he moved to Levelland in 1952. He married Mary Jane Bramlett, Nov. 9, 1943 in Ladonia. She died in May 2001. He was a mechanic for Bob Reid/ Herman West Chevrolet for 35 years until retiring in 1987.

Survivors include his daughter and son in law, Carol and Larry Adams of Lubbock; his son, Lynn Rushing of Austin; his sisters, Mildred Latimer of Trenton, and Ida French of Bonham; his brother, Pete of Colleyville; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
