Melvin "Arnold" Boshers, age 83, a resident of Buffalo Road in Summertown passed away Thursday, November 15, at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. Boshers will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Gale Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Arlington Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 3:00 – 9:00 PM at the funeral home.

The Mt. Pleasant native was the son of the late James Clifford and Myrtle Haywood Boshers and husband of Annie Mae Bennett Boshers. He was a farmer and retired from Murray Ohio Industry in Lawrenceburg. He was a member of Whispering Hills Church of God.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Melvin (Barbara) Boshers and Jeffery (Cathy) Boshers, both of Summertown; daughters, Deborah Latham and Sylvia (John) Shelton, both of Summertown; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Forrest Boshers.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
