Elsie E. Sanford, 73, of RD 2, Route 13, Blossvale, died Saturday at St. Luke's Hospital, New Hartford, after a brief illness.

A native of Malone, she lived in the Blossvale area for about 20 years.

She was the widow of Howard Bodway Sr., who died in 1965 and Fred Sanford who died in 1975.

Surviving are a son, Howard Bodway Jr of Sylvan Beach, four brothers, Robert and Silas Lamay, both of Malone, Larry Lamay of Waddington and Patrick Lamay of Syracuse, two sisters, Elmie Gravel of Westville and Helen Lamay of Malone, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 9:15 a.m. Tuesday in St. John's Church, North Bay. Burial will be in Vienna Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Sanborn-McDaniels & LaRobardiere Funeral Home, 109 Main St., Camden.
