Born December 19, 1937 in East Liverpool, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Bertha Alice Christen Phelps. A lifetime area resident, she had retired from the East Liverpool City School System as a cafeteria worker.
A Methodist by faith, Marceline was a Lifetime member of the VFW Post #66 and was a past president of the Daughters of America.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald C. Bennett, whom she married October 7, 1971, on September 15, 2011.
Survivors include three daughters, Teresa, Donna and Sandra and three sons James, Robert and Gregory.
There are several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; and one sister, Virginia Lee Maple of Banning, California.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Norma Jean Denning; and one brother, Franklin Levi Phelps.
Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
