Azarow, Bernard B., age 97, of Fort Lee on Tuesday, November 30,2021.

Beloved husband to Judith Azarow. Mr. Azarow was born in Jersey City in 1924 and served as a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He saw significant action in the Pacific Theater.

Post war, Chuck enjoyed a successful career in the travel industry before becoming an automotive executive with the DiFeo Automotive Group, Jersey City. At DiFeo, he was general manager of Hudson Toyota, one of the top performing Toyota dealerships in the United States. When DiFeo was sold, Chuck stayed with the new dealership that became part of the Penske Automotive Group, and spent many years serving its VIP clients and developing a corporate buying program for employees of United Airlines.

Chuck and Judith shared a deep interest in art and education. Upon the death of his son, Michael, they established the Michael Azarow Memorial Scholarship as an endowment that has benefitted generations of students at Saint Peter's University. Known for his deep interest in affairs of the state, nation and world, Chuck was a friend to many of his customers and will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Mr. Azarow's cremains will be interred at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery at 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. The service will take place at 10:30 AM Thursday, December 30th. All who might like to be present are invited to meet the family at the cemetery office.
