He served churches in New Kingston, Colonial Park, Harrisburg, Newport and Millerstown; was formerly the purchasing adviser for the former Department of Public Instruction; business teacher in Mathews County High School, Mathews, Va., Conewago Joint High School, East Berlin, and Carlisle High School; an Army veteran of World War II; a graduate of Limestone High School, Limestone, N.Y., Grove City College, Gettysburg Lutheran Theological Seminary and earned a master of science degree in counseling from Shippensburg University; and a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Millerstown.
Surviving are his wife, Olive Webb Case; two daughters, Carol J. Case of Etters and Linda I. Hildabrand of Mechanicsburg; a son, David A. of Gettysburg; a sister, Doris Billings of Allegany, N.Y.; a brother, Stewart D. of Oil City; seven grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Clinton.
Services were held Nov. 9 in his church with the Rev. Peter Kuebler officiating. Burial was Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin.
