Mrs. Lane was born at Leonard May 26, 1934, the daughter of the late Fred and Ada Rose Clutter.
Her husband, John Henry Lane, preceded her in death. Also deceased are a daughter, Creola Lane, a son, Audy Lane, three sisters, Verda Williams, Olive Mick, and Hester Adkison, and two brothers, Billy and Loman Clutter.
Surviving her are three daughters, Cynthia Blankenship, of Maxwelton, Adelen Mace, of Mill Point, and Henrietta Tripi, of Renick; a son, Billy Rickey Lane, of Hillsboro; three sisters, Myrtle Workman, of Cornstalk, Ileta Madison, of Richwood, and Nancy McFerrin, of Renick; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home, with burial in the Ruckman Cemetery. Visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at VanReenen's.
