Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2021, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill.
Mr. Cooper was born on August 9, 1952 to Alfonzo and Beulah Nottingham Cooper in Texarkana, TX and passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021 in Shreveport, LA. He was a retired driller and tool pusher. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was full of stories and comedy, and he loved to make others laugh.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Adale Flores Cooper of Sarepta, LA; three sons, Jimmy (Amanda) Cooper of Sarepta, LA, Jeremy Cooper of Sarepta, LA, Clayton Cooper, Jr. of VA; two daughters, Nichole (Kenneth) Christophe of Natchitoches, LA, Tracy (Scott) Wilson of Plain Dealing, LA; two granddaughters, Savannah Cooper of Sarepta, LA, Samantha Cooper of Sarepta, LA; four grandsons, Micah Cooper of Sarepta, LA, Raleigh Cooper of Sarepta, LA, Camden Cooper of Sarepta, LA, Jack Cooper of Sarepta, LA; two sisters, Jessie Dodge of Sarepta, LA, Martha Cockrell of Bossier City, LA; brother, Joe (Nellie) Cooper of Elm Grove, Mother in-law, Lois Flores of Emerson, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends that were welcomed just like family.
