Lee Coy Jr., 46, 1723 S. Elm, self-employed painter, died Wednesday night at Ball Hospital of a heart attack suffered while visiting his daughter, a patient at the hospital.
A native of Muncie, he attended Parkview Apostolic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Stella; his father, Lee Sr., Muncie; two sons, Charles, Eaton, and John L., at home; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Gooding, Mrs. David Pierson, Eaton, and Mrs. Steve Freeman, Farmland; three brothers, George, Everett and Donald, all of Muncie; a sister, Mrs. Edward Lankford, Gaston; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Pitman Funeral Home in Eaton. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Callers will be received at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.
