Randall A. "Randy" Romine, age 67 of Elwood, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Ascension St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood following a brief illness. He was born April 21, 1954 in Elwood, the son of Roland Romine and Lois "Juanita" (Thomason) Long. Randy was a 1972 graduate of Frankton High School. He worked in production at ELSA Corporation in Elwood for over 20 years until he retired in 2016. Randy married Donna Rigney on May 15, 2004 and they shared over 17 years of marriage together. He especially enjoyed building things out of wood and tinkering with tools. Randy was known for having a great sense of humor and always having a good joke to share. His absolute favorite band was the Beatles. Randy was a simple man who spent as much time with his family as he possibly could. More than anything, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Randy's family legacy includes his wife, Donna Romine of Elwood; 3 daughters, Amber (husband Isa) Garcia of Sarasota, FL, Kelley Romine of Sarasota, FL, and Heather Deckard of Daleville; 2 step-sons, Richard (wife Ashley) McGinnis of High Springs, FL and Andrew (wife Cacee) McGinnis of Elwood; mother-in-law, Anna "Rosie" Rigney of Evansville; sister and brother in law, Teresa (husband Michael) Bell of Evansville; 9 grandchildren, Alexis Romine, Chris Romine, Brendon Romine, Olivia Romine, Dylan Romine, Jakob Deckard, Hunter Pitts, Hunter McGinnis, and Jerimya McGinnis; and several nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Daniel Romine.

A funeral service celebrating Randy's life will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Pastor Michael Bell and Pastor Jack Bess officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery in Elwood. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm prior to the service on Thursday at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home. Health precautions for the safety of the family and all visitors are greatly appreciated.
