John Robert Blackwood of Kingsland, Texas was born to Vivian and Bob Blackwood. He was a proud member of the Champion Site Prep family for 10 plus years. A deeply devoted and loving family man, John dedicated his whole life to caring for his loved ones. He was famous for his "Blackwood Tacos" and his practical jokes.
John was preceded In death by his father Bob Blackwood, brother Danny Blackwood and sister Kathy Knox.
Remaining family include his wife Barbara Blackwood, mother Vivian Blackwood, sister Karen Greene, brother Tommy Blackwood, children Mitch, Tammy, Teresa, Lisa, Kathy, Craig and Susanna; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held December 18, 2021 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Chapel. Private family interment will take place at Llano City Cemetery.
