She was born on September 9, 1935 to Raymundo and Eumelia Salas in Canoncito de Las Manuelitas.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Raymundo and Eumelia Salas; brothers: Leroy and Richard Salas; sisters-in-law: Petra Salas and Dorothy Salas; nephew: Patrick Salas; niece: Jackie Salas.
Ferminia is survived by her brothers: Augustine (Eulogia), George and Felix; numerous: Nieces and Nephews.
Ferminia lived most of her years with her mother in Canoncito de Las Manuelitas until the passing of her mother she then was in care of Castellano Boarding Home. Her last 11 years at Vida Encantada Nursing Facility. She was a loving soul who will be greatly missed by those who cared for her along with family.
Rosary service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 9:30am funeral mass will follow and both services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM.
Interment will be at Canoncito de Las Manuelitas Cemetery.
