CARROLLTON - Services for Mrs. Carolyn Taylor Mallett, 56, were held at 3 p.m. today at North Carrollton Baptist Church.
Mrs. Mallett, the wife of H.C. Mallett, died Wednesday at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
A former Greenwood resident, Mrs. Mallett was born in Montgomery County and had been residing in Carroll County near McCarley.
A member of the North Carrollton Baptist Church, she was a retired claims representative with the Social Security Administration in Greenwood.
She also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Robert L. Aust of Itta Bena and three grandchildren.
The Rev. Bill Patton officiated.
Pallbearers were Otis Carroll, Freddy Mullen, Teddy Maxey, Elmer Wilson, Bobby Cassidy and Barry Cassidy. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
Wilson and Knight Funeral Home handled arrangements.
