Mr. Evans is survived by his wife, Mrs. Thelma McClusky Evans, his son, Sonny Evans and one sister, Mrs. Marie Downs, Wilson, Louisiana and one granddaughter, Lee Ann Evans.
Funeral services were held at Lee Funeral Home, Winona at 2 p.m. Friday, August 22 with Rev. John Gray and Rev. Bennie Watson officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery with Lee Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were Hubert Strachan, Harry Walker, James Campbell, Melvin Noland, Ronnie Beck, Billy Joe McCullough.
