Mrs. Minnie M. Russell, widow of the late Albert E. Russell, a Madera pioneer, passed away in Lathrop at 9 a.m. on Thursday following a lingering illness.
The family disposed of their home in the. Sweet Flower district in 1904 establishing themselves near Lathrop where they have since resided.
Surviving Mrs. Russell are two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Brockman of Lathrop and Mrs. Gardner Martin of Manteca; one son, Dean Russell of Manteca, and six grandclpldreb. Funeral sendees will be held in Stockton on Saturday. Interment will be in the family plot in the Mountain View cemetery in Fresno on Tuesday at 2 p.m. There will be graveside services.
