GOLDSCHMIDT, Aaron James (A.J., A-Aron, young slacker), age 18, passed unexpectedly at home on the morning of Thursday August 20, 2020. Aaron graduated from Centerville High School in June 2020 and had plans to attend Sinclair Community College in the fall.

Aaron is survived by his two parents James and Jennifer Goldschmidt, his sister Alaina Saltsman, his grandparents James and Vicke Melvin, Walter Goldschmidt, Hala Saltsman, his great-grandparents Marjorie Melvin, Thelma Jordan. Aaron came from a large family and is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and his dog/best friend, Maddie. Aaron was predeceased by his grandpa Charles Murphy and his great grandpa Albert Melvin #71041878 .

Growing up in Centerville, Aaron was a member of many sports teams in his community. He enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends playing video games, listening to and making music, camping, and hiking. Aaron believed in taking advantage of life's opportunities, living life to the fullest, and inspiring others to do the same. Aaron had a kind spirit and a passion for helping others. He lit up every room with his contagious smile, laugh and sense of humor.
