Angela Startz Roach, 61, passed away at her home in San Antonio, Texas, on Thursday, October 14, 2021. She was born in Alice, Texas on March 12, 1960, to Sherman Shelly Startz and Margarita Hinojosa Startz.
She was a true believer in our Lord Jesus Christ and was always willing to share The Word with everyone.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margarita Hinojosa Startz of Palito Blanco, Texas and step brother, Phil Maldanado of Alice, Texas.
Angela is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Roach and three daughters, Rebekah (David) Waage of Lindsborg, Kansas, Yvette (Shaun) Spivey of San Antonio, Texas, and Yvonne (Clayton) Sowers of Salina, Kansas; father, Sherman (Judy) Startz of Alice, Texas; brother, Shelby Startz of Alaska, and Allen (Michelle) Startz of Bryan, Texas; sister, Jennifer (Horacio) Rangel of Alice, Texas; step brothers, Kyle (Sheryl) Villere of Portland, Texas and Gage Villere of Long Beach, California; and her close confidant, Isabel Smith, who was always there for her; nine grandchildren, Sarah Gross, John-Matthew Gross, Zachary Gross, Paul Waage, Nadia Vessers, Naomi Vessers, Autumn Mc Gill, Noah Sowers, and Maverick Sowers; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at later date in San Antonio, Texas and in Alice Cemetery in Alice, Texas.
