Dad passed away in the early morning on Friday, December 11, 2021, at age 90, at Chancellor Gardens in Clearfield, Utah. He was born October 18, 1931, in Wales, Utah, to Charles and Macel Beal Dyches. They moved to Moroni, Utah when he was six years old.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving four years during the Korean War.

Dad married his sweetheart, Bonnie Nielson, in San Diego, California on July 17, 1953. They were later sealed in the Ogden Temple for eternity.

He worked at Hill Air Force Base as a shift manager at the Airfreight terminal where he retired. After retirement he worked at ZCMI and later at the Davis County Handicap Services.

Dad and mom loved to travel. They especially loved Yuma, Arizona in the winter. Dad was a computer whiz and a handyman. He could not stand to see anything broken and could fix almost anything. He loved a wide variety of music, taking pictures and family videos.

He loved the comfort of his home and neighborhood. He always said he had the best neighbors anyone could ask for.

We will dearly miss you dad,
