"JERRY MOORE DIES SUDDENLY AT HOME IN ST. CHARLES

Jerry W. Moore, 77 years old, a resident of Mokane until about ten years ago, died suddenly Thursday evening, February 15, at his home in St. Charles. Late in the afternoon of that day Mr. Moore had been down stairs to look after the furnace in the home and had returned to the living room and seated himself in a chair. His wife spoke to him and when he did not respond, she went to his side and saw he was unable to move. Calling a neighbor to her assistance, they placed Mr. Moore upon his bed and he never seemed to regain consciousness, expiring at about 6:00 o'clock. Funeral services and burial took place Saturday afternoon.
Jerry W. Moore was a native of East Callaway and was 77 years, one month, and five days old at the time of his death. Forty-three years ago the 4th of this month he was united in marriage with Miss Louella Hazlett, who survives. He also leaves four children. They are Ernest Moore, St. Louis, Miss Dorothy Moore and Hy. Moore, both of St. Charles, and Mrs. Homer Wilson of Wellston.
