Funeral services for Frank Rossomanno will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 2 pm from McClain-Hays Chapel with Father Darnis officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2021, from 1 pm until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.
Mr. Rossomanno, 85, of Philadelphia died Sunday, December 12, 2021.
Frank Rossomanno was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. In his life he was a barber, an actor, a director, and a teacher. He taught in public school and then in tribal school- at Choctaw Central for 16 years until his retirement. He was in the Army and the Reserves. Besides the theater, he loved to tell stories, listen to music, spend time with family, visit new places, and cook and eat Italian food.
He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and a member of The Knights of Columbus.
He was proceeded in death by
his parents Caterina and Giosue Rossomanno,
his brothers Eduardo (Edward) Rossomanno and Pietro (Pete) Rossomanno, and
his sister Doratea Phillips Rossomanno and
niece Vicky Rossomanno Babbitt.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joanne Rossomanno;
son Joseph Rossomanno (Kerry Kennedy);
daughter Angela Rossomanno (Tony Martin);
loved as daughter Kim Evans (Peter Pierre);
granddaughters Anna Rossomanno and Rain Kennedy, and
brother George Lappas.
Additionally, he leaves behind beloved
nephews Rick, Brett, Brian, Dominic, Joe-Paul and nieces Bronwyn, Brooke, Natalie, Cara, Michaella and
their families, lifelong friend Guy Lemco, and good friend Stanley Bose.
Pallbearers are Tony Martin, Stanley Bose, Charles Hunter, Doug Prosen, Ron DiPalma and Fred Murray.
