The family will receive friends between 6 and 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 16, 2021 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Addington Cemetery, Addington, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.
Norma was born on June 11, 1942 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Winford Loran and Dorothy Mae(Garrison) Wilson. She grew up in Shawnee, Oklahoma and graduated from Midwest City High School. After high school, Norma attended Cosmetology School and became a hairdresser for the next 10 years. During this time, Norma moved to Waurika, Oklahoma and opened her own Salon. In 1977, she acquired "Casa De Rosas" and became a full time Florist. She later moved to Wichita Falls and started "Autumn Leaves" in 1981 and has continued serving the Wichita Falls and surrounding area for the past 40 years, retiring in 2020.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Ann; and her daughter, Marci Brosch.
She is survived by her loving partner of 28 years, Don Youngblood; her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Dana Cartledge all of Wichita Falls; her sister, Tracy Cox and husband Carl of Muskogee, Oklahoma; her brother, Don Wilson of Wilson, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Micah Muse, Michael Muse, and Lauren Brosch all of Wichita Falls; her great-grandchildren, Olivia Smith, Casen Smith, Adalyn Muse, and Kenzley Muse al of Wichita Falls; numerous nieces and nephews; and her constant companion, a Coton de Tulear, "Bettie Jo".
