Cornelius Andrews, second son of Alfred Andrews, of New Britain, and his second wife, Mary L. Shipman, of the same town, born 1st Nov. 1834; baptized May 1835. He was a farmer and mechanic. He lived with his father and help run the farm. He united to the First Congregational Church, 8 April 1854.

He married on 25 June 1862 to Ann Eliza Andrews, who was born 19 Jan. 1836, in Wethersfield, Conn. to Samuel J. Andrews and Chloe Ann Francis. She had been a teacher before getting married and became a member of the same church on 6 May 1866.

He was also engaged quite extensively in making and selling school furniture.

Their children:
Mary Lincoln, b. 11 april 1865
Infant daughter, b. 31 Oct. 1871, died the same day.
