Funeral services for Melvin Dwayne Abron Jr., 2, of 602 S. Jackson, Sulphur Springs, were held Tuesday in the Morning Chapel Baptist Church. Burial was in the East Caney Cemetery under the direction of White Funeral Home.
The child died Saturday in Wolfe City from injuries received in a motorcycle-truck accident.
He was born Oct. 20, 1983, in Sulphur Springs, the son of Melvin Dwayne and Anita Askew Abron.
Survivors include his mother, Anita Abron of Sulphur Springs; a sisters, Chianti Abron of Sulphur Springs; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Askew and Nellie and Eugene Porter, all of Sulphur Springs.
