Robert Edward Griswold, 54, of Troy, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 29, 2021. Visitation will be at Green Hills Funeral Home on Friday, December 3, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. with a Graveside Service at 1:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.
Robert was born and raised in Pike County and a graduate of Pike County High School. Upon graduation, he went on to earn his associates degree from Wallace College specializing in electrical engineering. Robert had a great appreciation for American classics, with impressive collections of model cars, Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote antics, and Dukes of Hazzard memorabilia. He kept his channel rotating with a variety of 80s tunes and could often be captured singing along with his favorites. Robert also exercised a keen sense for mechanics, practicing his skills on his prized 1977 T-bird and old Dodge pickup truck.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Erwin Griswold and his brother, Chandler Brian Griswold.
