Born in Delta, O., and a Toledo resident most of his life, Mr. Hayward worked in the maintenance department of Washington Township 20 years. During the last year, he worked at Parkview Hospital.
Surviving are his wife, Wilma; son, James E., Toledo; daughters, Mrs. Mae Joe Ritchie, Mrs. Jacqueline Blackford and Mrs. Thomasina Kohn, all of Toledo; mother, Mrs. Emma Moore, and stepfather, John Moore, both of Toledo; brothers, Kenneth, Luckey, O., and Clarence, Toledo; half brothers, Louis and Robert Lauch, both of Toledo; sisters, Mrs. Donalda Dankert, in Indiana; Mrs. Frieda Sorby, Toledo, and Mrs. Eloise Pollock, Brighton, Mich., and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Jasin Mortuary, with burial in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
