Beverly Tepley, 91, of Brainerd, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021, at her son's home in Grand Rapids. Bev was born June 1, 1930, in Crosby, the daughter of Thomas and Elsie (Katzenberger) Stockard. Following high school, she worked at the Brainerd Hospital before marrying Leonard Tepley. She enjoyed raising her children and returned to work when they were all in school. She began working at Good Samaritan Society – Bethany when it first opened and remained there for 21 years.

Bev was a devout Catholic who instilled the faith in her children. She looked forward to attending daily Mass with friends who also stopped for coffee after. She was a wonderful cook and liked to bake – especially for any holidays. Bev made sure to spoil her family with big meals and caramels. She liked to garden and took special care of her rose bushes. She wasn't afraid to spend a little time in the Casino with her "Kenny Rogers Gambling Game".

She will be dearly missed by her children, Tom (Terri) Tepley, Karolee (Bob) Parelhoff, and Chris (Angela) Tepley; grandchildren, Mike and Matt Tepley, Tony (Cristina) Gmeinder, Katie (Josh) Stoll, Aimee (Alex) Julian, Adam Tepley, and Keira (Nick) Porter; great-grandchildren, Koral, Cameron, Kolton, Giorgia, Cale, Elizabeth "Elsie", Madelyn, Neeah, and Nikko; and siblings, Tony Stockard and Donna Novak.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; parents; and siblings, John Stockard, Shirley Forstner, Jean Kertzman, Tudy Landowski, Bernadette Stockard, and Bubby Stockard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 10, 2021, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services and to join the family for lunch at the VFW following graveside services at Evergreen Cemetery. Nelson – Doran Funeral Home
