Burial will follow services in the Greenpond Cemetery with the Masons serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Thursday Night Bowling Team and League.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2007, at the funeral home.
Mr. Dodd passed away on Sunday afternoon, November 11, 2007, at his residence, following a battle with cancer. He married Jackie White, on December 10, 1956, in Hugo, Oklahoma. She survives.
Mr. Dodd was the owner of D&D Feeder and Dairy Equipment for 38 years and was of the Baptist faith.
Other survivors include: two sons, Darrell D. Dodd and wife Cindy, of Hopkins County, and Jerry Wayne Dodd and wife Donna, of Decatur; one daughter, Kathy Vaughn and husband Craig, of Sulphur Springs; three brothers, Jerry Dodd and wife Brenda, of Sulphur Springs, Robert Dodd and wife Paulette of Haslett, and Randy Dodd and wife Jamie, of Sulphur Springs; one sister, Wanda Smith and husband James of Como; and seven grandchildren, Ashley Reppond, Dusty Dodd, Aaron Dodd, Brandy Boles, Jessica Dodd, Jonathon Dodd, and Johna Vaughn.
