He is survived by his son, Michael Cato, Jr. (Stephanie); daughters, Heather Smith (Greg) and Sabrina White (Mitch); grandchildren, Tori Johnson (Damauntey), Ashley Abbott (Matthew), Jordan Smith (Courtney), Jaden Smith (Zane) and Eli Cato; great grandchildren, Aaliyah Johnson, Anslee Johnson, Aubrey Abbott, Mason Smith and Landen Smith; sister, Karen Rhodes (Doug); and niece, Courtney McCaleb (William). He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Cato; parents, Mayve Self Wilson and Edward Cato, and brother, Raymond Cato.
