Our Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend passed away peacefully on December 15, 2007 at his home in Riverton, Utah, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on July 11, l927 to Robert E. Bartlett Sr. and Willa Jaskey Bartlett in Salt Lake City, Utah. He married his sweetheart JoAnne Harward on September 1, 1948 in the Salt Lake Temple. Bill was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held many church callings including Bishopric, High Council, Stake athletic director, Scout Master and many music related callings. He especially enjoyed his many callings involving the youth of the church.

He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean conflict. He started his career as an electrician in a family owned electrical contracting business. He was highly respected in the electrical industry for over 50 years. He willingly served the IEA in many capacities. Bill enjoyed the outdoors. He was a passionate golfer and a lifetime member of Alpine Country Club. He loved camping, boating and fishing with his family and friends. He was a private pilot owning his own plane and enjoyed soaring through the skies. Because of his love of music, he played many musical instruments, sang in many choirs, played and sang in several quartets and directed many musical groups. He was an avid U of U fan, teaching his posterity to follow in his footsteps.

Bill was survived by his Loving Wife, JoAnne, Sons, Steve (Mary), Russ, Daughter, Shauna (Darrel) Clegg, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grand-children, and brothers, Robert (Lavon), and John (Sharon). He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.

Funeral Services were held on Thursday, December 20th 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Sommerhill 16th Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 1208 West 12400 South in Riverton, Utah. A Viewing was held on Wednesday Evening from 6-8 PM at the Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary located at 6500 South Redwood Road in Taylorsville and One Hour Prior to the Services at the Church
Bill was laid to rest at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Sandy, Utah after the conclusion of the Funeral Services.
