Larry E. Bell, husband of the late Judy Campbell Bell, went home to be with the Lord on December 4, 2021.
Larry was born February 9, 1941 in Anderson to the late Willie J. Bell and the late Lessie K. Pierce. He was a US Army Veteran and attended Anderson College. Larry taught Bluegrass banjo and was retired from Sears with 42 years of service. He was a member of Central Presbyterian Church.
Larry is survived by his son, Jason Andrew Bell and brother, Gary Bell. Larry and Judy loved being grandparents to three cherished grandchildren; Morgan Hudders, Andrew Simmons (fiancé Carly Strain) and Sara Grace Simmons and great grandson, Kato Lewis Simmons.
In addition to his wife, Judy, Larry was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly Bell Simmons.
The Reverend Vaughn West will officiate a service honoring the life of Larry, 2:30 p.m., Thursday, December 9 at Sullivan-King Mortuary. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park,
