She was born In Kalamazoo and moved to Battle Creek in 1939. She was employed for more than 15 years by the Detroit Waste Works Co., and many years ago by the old Blue Banner Laundry in Kalamazoo. She returned to Kalamazoo in 1982.
Surviving are a son ... daughters ... 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, William Nuyen of Kalamazoo; and sisters, Kay Hayden of Jackson, Bertha Wood of Augusta, and Irene Ciesielski of Plainwell.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday in the chapel at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
