Jeanne met the love of her life Bobby Lee Grice and they later married in 1949 in Omaha. Jeanne and Bobby made their home and raised their children in Omaha. Jeanne had worked at Southroads Mall in Bellevue, NE for Brandeis from 1968 until 1987 and then for Younkers until the store closed in 1996.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Nebraska Adah Chapter #52 in Papillion, NE and a longtime member of Wheeler Memorial Presbyterian Church in Omaha.
