John was born Oct. 19, 1927 and died on Nov. 30, 2021 at age 94. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Burkemper Cook, daughter, Elizabeth Spilker (Rick) and son, James Cook. He is survived by his children Rev. Timothy Cook, Thomas Cook (Whitney), Suzanne Jones (Myles), Cynthia Van Camp (David), Edward Cook (Ann) and Amy Marsh (Scott), 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many friends.
He was a parishioner at St. Norbert Catholic Church, worked for SWBT for over 40 years, enjoyed travel, loved to sing, go fishing and was remarkably generous and rich in faith.
