The 1880 US Census shows a 30-year-old Tilda, single, living in the household of her parents, Ransom and Joanah Fedrick. However, the North Carolina death certificate shows the name Itilda Frederick, with no middle initial. This is consistent with the nickname Tilda.
She died unmarried at age 83. Cause of death: cerebral hemorrhage. The informant on her death certificate is her brother L. P. Frederick. Query whether she was living with him when she died. She purportedly is buried at the Reuben Walton Family Cemetery (which now may be called the Haywood D'Arcy Foushee Family Cemetery).
