Hazel Louise Hicks, 82 of Hagarville, AR, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, in Russellville, Arkansas with her loved ones by her side. Hazel was born November 16, 1939, in Lamar, AR to Raymond and Reba (Havener) Moreland. Hazel enjoyed cooking for her family, watching Wheel of Fortune, playing on her hand-held games. Hazel retired for Tyson Foods after working for 40 years. Family wants to thank Russellville Nursing and Rehab for all the activities that Hazel enjoyed participating in during her stay.
Hazel is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Reba (Havener) Moreland; her husband Scottie Lee Hicks; two daughters Irma Leah Hicks, Scottia Hicks; grandson Larry Hicks; one brother Don Moreland; three sisters Janie Thrailkill, Joann Skaggs, Linda Frye; and one niece Amy Frye.
Hazel is survived by two daughters Anna Robbins of Hagarville and Rebecca Hicks of Clarksville; four grandchildren Guy Robbins of Bentonville, Arkansas; Tina Robbins of Hagarville, Arkansas; Melanie Hicks of Clarksville, Arkansas; and Megan Hicks of Clarksville, Arkansas; eight great-grandchildren Bethann Robbins of Hagarville, Arkansas; Kaydance Bankston of Paris, Arkansas; Damon Stock and Elijah Stock both of Russellville; Brayden Edwards, Mahayla Edwards and Hayden Edwards all of Clarksville, Arkansas; and Sofia Robbins of Bentonville, Arkansas.
Graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M. on Monday, December 6, 2022, at Annies Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Bob Powers officiating. Burial will follow.
