Galena, Kan., Jan., 18. — James Courtright, 52 years old, died at 4:30 o'clock this afternoon at his home on West Seventeenth street following a three months' illness.

He underwent two operations in Freeman hospital at Joplin recently.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ella Courtright; two children, Mary and Kenneth, at home, and one brother, Frank Courtright, of Picher.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Courtright Funeral Friday.

Galena, Kan., Jan., 19., - Funeral services for James W. Courtright, 52 years old, who died at 4:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his home on West Seventeenth street following a three months' illness, will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Clark funeral chapel, with the Rev. Tom Patty in charge.

Burial will be in Hill Crest cemetery.

According to his son, Kenneth Courtright, he has been married an unknown number of times before he married Ella. As far as Kenneth knew, he didn't have any other children with the previous wives.
