George W. Bailey Sr., 62, of Halifax died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002 at home.
He was born May 14, 1940 in Marysville to the late George and Ida (Wolfe) Bailey.
He was retired from J. Nevin White Lumber Co. and Deyshane's Logging.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Bailey of Duncannon; three sons, George W. Jr. of Duncannon, Steven R. of Lykens and Gregory A. of Herndon; two daughters, Norma Kauffman of Newport and Lisa Bailey of Enola; a brother, Robert of Gardners; four sisters, Joan Cassell of Halifax, Shirley Neibert of Enola, Margaret Spertzel of Gardners and Linda Benstead of Montana; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 3 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Dale Rosenberger officiating. Burial was in Duncannon Cemetery.
