He was retired from J. Nevin White Lumber Co. and Deyshane's Logging.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Bailey of Duncannon; three sons, George W. Jr. of Duncannon, Steven R. of Lykens and Gregory A. of Herndon; two daughters, Norma Kauffman of Newport and Lisa Bailey of Enola; a brother, Robert of Gardners; four sisters, Joan Cassell of Halifax, Shirley Neibert of Enola, Margaret Spertzel of Gardners and Linda Benstead of Montana; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 3 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Dale Rosenberger officiating. Burial was in Duncannon Cemetery.
