Born in Allegheny County, to the late John Henry and Lula Viola Larkin Pridemore. He married Frances Parquette, who preceded him in death Oct. 31, 2021.
Mr. Pridemore formerly owned the Pridemore Hotel of No. 5 Mine and was a teacher of carpentry at George Jr. Republic. He retired as a major in the Army Reserves.
Survivors include three stepchildren and their families.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Mateer; and a brother, Roy Pridemore.

Visitation: 10 to 11 a.m. Friday (12-3-21) at the SMITH FUNERAL HOME in Leesburg, 1778 Perry Hwy., Volant.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home, with Rod Burk officiating.
Interment: Crestview Memorial Park, Grove City, following the service.
