A message received here this morning announced the death of Mrs. Lissette Gotsch, aged 54 years, at her home in Sturgis, Mich., after an illness that had confined her to her bed for only a week. However, she had been in poor health for some time.
Mrs. Gotsch was the widow of the late Christian Gotsch, of this city. For Several years he was at the head of the German Lutheran schools here. She was the step-mother of Mrs. Louis J. Scheidt. She is also survived by four children of her own, all of whom live at Sturgis.
The funeral will be held Thursday, probably at Sturgis, and Mr. Scheidt expects to attend the services. His wife probably will be unable to attend because their baby is not well enough for her to leave.
