Ralph W. Arthur, Jr., 87 formerly of Hollidaysburg died early Friday morning November 26, 2021, at Homewood at Martinsburg.
He was born September 7, 1934, in Altoona a son of the late Ralph W. and Adessia (Weight) Arthur.
He married Irene L. "Rene" Wilt in May 1955 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Altoona.

Ralph was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Sue Arthur on May 24, 2020, and five sisters, Betty Jane Strobert, Helen Livinia Wright, Peggy Elaine Luke, Janet Battisti, and Carol Jean Frank and a brother, Paul Arthur. Ralph was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He was a 1953 graduate of Altoona High School.
Ralph retired as the President of Royal Tile and Carpet following over 23 years' service.
He enjoyed hunting and antique automobiles.
Ralph was a 50 year member of Juniata Lodge, Free & Accepted Masons; a member of the Valley of Altoona, Scottish Rite bodies; a member of the York Rite bodies; a member and Past Potentate (1994) of Jaffa Shrine; a member of the Jaffa Cabiri; Past Treasurer of Jaffa Shrine; a member of Jaffa Shrine Club; a member of Colotic Miztli #91, Order of Quetzalcoatl; a member of Altoona Court #70, Royal Order of Jesters; a member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon; a life member of Safari Club International; a member of the National Rifle Association; a life member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation; a life member of Pheasants Forever; a life member of the Ruffed Grouse Society; and a member of the Wild Turkey Federation; a member of numerous conservation groups, and a member of the Hollidaysburg Lions Club.
A private viewing and funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family with Rev. Dr. John Goddisart officiating.
A future public memorial service is planned.
Interment will be made at Alto Reste Park Cemetery.
