Alan Bergeson died peacefully at home Nov. 27, 2013 with family at his side, after a remarkable 8-year battle with mesothelioma. Alan will be remembered as a talented craftsman, sculptor, occasional jazz trumpet player and very original thinker with discerning eyes and ears for art and music. Born June 20, 1930 to Ruby Ellen and Ernest Bergeson, Alan was predeceased by sister Mary Heimer and brother Robert Bergeson. He's survived by brother John and sisters Martha (Lloyd) Kramer and Susan Rinehart, and eight nieces and nephews. Alan will be deeply missed by his wife and love of his life Marjorie and family Ben (Melanie), Joe (Terry), Mimi, Michael and Debby; grandchildren Hope (Ari), Rajeshi, Krsna (Jannice), Nick, Lindsey and Sophie, and great-grandchildren Hodaya, Elishama, Emil and Solis. A private gathering to celebrate Alan's life will be held soon for family and friends. Any remembrances can be made to a charity of your choice.
