He always donated to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Larry loved animals, taking care of his cattle (which were all named) and his chickens. He had a pet catfish named Scarface, who also gave him joy. Larry also enjoyed four wheeling, driving his bobcat, cakewalks, sports, working with cement, welding, and doing electrical work. He built their home for his wife.
Larry led by example. There was never a job too large or too small that he would not tackle. He was strong, determined and didn't give up. Larry's favorite movies were Titanic, Grease, and Facing the Giants. He would also spend time reading his Bible. Foremost, Larry loved Jesus and God. He lived life and laughed often.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
