Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 7, 1995 for Martha Gregg "Big Mama" Mullen of Eupora who died Sunday, November 5, 1995 from heart failure at Eupora Health Care Center in Eupora. She was 92.

Born in Oktibbeha County, Mrs. Mullen was a member of First Baptist Church at Mathiston and a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, K. E. "Big Daddy" Mullen of Eupora; four daughters, Lucille Schaefer of Brazoria, Texas, Aragene Gammill of Ackerman, Bonita Roberts of Crossnore, N.C., and Carolyn Phillips of Farmerville, La; six sons, Karl K. Mullen of Escondido, Ca., Edgar M. Mullen of Ackerman, Kelton W. Mullen of Iron River, Wis., Early E. Mullen of Grifton, N.C., Twyman A. Mullen of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Harford H. Mullen of Eupora; one sister, Jodie Chancellor of Jackson; one brother, Felix Gregg of Clinton; 31 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great grandchildren.

Services were held in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora with the Rev. Hidgon Herrington officiating. Burial was in Milligan Springs Cemetery in Montgomery County. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Wesley Gammill, Wilson Gammill, Jerry Schaefer, Cliff Mullen, Buddy Schaefer, and Ken Phillips.
