"Mrs. Katherine E. Crockett, 81, of 1000 E. 21st Avenue, North Kansas City, died Sunday at the North Kansas City Memorial Hospital. She was born in Merriam and had lived in Kansas City 53 years. Mrs. Crockett was a member of the Evangelist Temple. She leaves her husband, Clyde F. Crockett of the home, and two sisters, Mrs. Henrietta Hoffhaus of 10924 W. 58th, Shawnee, and Mrs. Emma McLeod of Olathe. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday p.m. Tuesday at the Newcomer North Kansas City Chapel; burial in White Chapel Cemetery." The Kansas City Times, August 12, 1974
