Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Billy J. "Buddy" Bryan , a son Billy Tim Bryan, a grandson Landon Lane Bryan, a brother Jerry "Bubba" Newton, her mother Jessie Mae McInnis Newton and her father T. A. Newton.
Shirley is survived by her son Bruce L. Bryan and daughter-in-law Kathy of Georgetown, Texas, granddaughter Kasey Turner (Michael) of Taylor, Texas, grandaughter Shantel Bryan Anderson of Cleveland, Texas, great granddaughter Kaylee Michelle Turner of College Station, Texas and great grandsons Garrett Turner and Jacob Turner of Taylor, Texas, Clayton Roane of Shepherd, Texas and Hudson Anderson of Cleveland, Texas and a host of friends and family members.
Shirley was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Centerville, Texas and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Shirley always lived life to the fullest and was a great wife and mother; she was an all-star basketball player in high school and loved being outdoors. Shirley loved horses, ranching, hunting and fishing. She also loved dachshund dogs; she had 7 of them, all named "Jet".
There will be a graveside service at the Tenneessee Colony cemetery on Tuesday, November 30th, 2021 at 1:00 pm for a celebration of life for Shirley.
Services have been entrusted to Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
