Born Sept. 23, 1925 in Sacramento, Calif. to Yoshio and Yoshie Suzuye Homma. He married Yeiko Oki, Feb. 23, 1957 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Don was an Army veteran of World War II, member of the Japanese Church of Christ, member of the Mount Olympus JACL, was a poultry farmer and ran an industrial cleaning business.
Survived by wife, Yeiko of Taylorsville; children, Michael (Mary) Homma of Broken Arrow, OK; Victor (Debbie) Homma; Donna (Eric) Goeller, all of West Valley City; nine grandchildren, Merlaine; Myles; Mark; Miko; Michael, Jr.; Vickie; Jeremy; Megan; Justin; one great-grandchild, Lawrence; sisters, Mae Hirasuna; Umeko Homma; brother, Yoneo Homma, all of Calif.
Funeral Services will be held Fri., Dec. 19, 1997, 11 a.m. at the Japanese Church of Christ, 300 W. 100 So. Friends may call Thurs., 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 So. 900 E. and Friday one hour prior to services at the Church.
Interment: Mountain View Memorial Estates.
