Harvey Vickrey. Harvey Vickrey, son of William Vickrey and Eliza Adams, was born Sept. 12, 1852, on a farm near the Limerick settlement, south of the village of Kasbeer, Bureau county, Ill., where he grew to manhood. Wednesday morning, May 30, 1917, at 6:30 o'clock, he passed away at his late home in Chicago, aged 64 years, 9 months and 18 days.

He was untied in marriage with Miss Katheryne Nies on Thursday, June 20, 1889, in Ohio, Ill. To this union one child was born, a daughter Orpha Angeline, now wife of George E. Priest of Chicago.

The village of Ohio was the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vickrey until 1902, when they moved to Chicago, where they made their home in Woodlawn until the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife and daughter.

Mr. Vickrey was a plain, unassuming man, clean, sincere, honest and lovable, whom every one esteemed. The world is better for his having been with us.
