Sarah married John Francis "Jack" Lowrance September 18, 1894 at Centerpoint, Texas. In 1899 they moved to Oklahoma Indian Territory. They settled in an area known as Chalk Bluff. Jack was a farmer.
Sarah and John had nine children: John, Jocie, William, Rachel, Nora, Minnie, Theodore, Charles, and Francis.
Sarah died September 12, 1941 and is buried at Spring Creek Cemetery, Beckham County, Oklahoma near John Francis and other family members.
