Resident Dies

      WEISER—Roy Dailey, 74, a resident of Weiser for the past, 60 years, died at a Weiser hospital Friday morning. He was born May 8, 1886, in Batavia, Ill., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Dailey, and came to Weiser in a covered wagon as a boy of nine.
      Mr. Dailey was married to Lessie Schmaljohn June 7, 1958, at Emmett. He had worked his entire lifetime as a carpenter and cabinet maker.
      Surviving are his wife, Lessie, of Weiser; one son, Leroy Dailey, Portland; five stepsons, Bradley Blankenship, Eugene, Ore.; Willie Parker, Pendleton, Ore.; Leroy Cromie, Boulder, Colo.; Raymond Schmaljohn, Emmett, and George Schmaljohn, Denver; five step-daughters, Mrs. Murna Smith, Council, Idaho; Mrs. Rosella, Emmett, Idaho; Mrs. Evelyn Fritsch, Glendive, Mont; Mrs. Esther Chovose, Norwalk, Calif., and Mrs. Barbara Frasier, Montrose, Colo.
      Services will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Northam-Jones chapel with the Rev. Dwight E. Wilcher of the First Methodist church officiating. Interment will be made at Hillcrest.
